What Is Chum Made of in Spongebob
SpongeBob SquarePants: Every Character Who Worked At The Chum Bucket
Although The Chum Bucket always fails, it has had various characters joining its crew at some point. Here's every character who has worked there.
There are two very important restaurants in the universe of SpongeBob SquarePants : the Krusty Krab and The Chum Bucket, and while the latter is a big failure, it has had a variety of employees through the years. Created by Stephen Hillenburg, SpongeBob SquarePants made its debut on Nickelodeon in 1999 and has been unstoppable ever since, becoming not only the most successful Nicktoon to date but also one of the longest-running animated series. SpongeBob and company have also jumped to other media, most notably film and video games, and have taken the most notable places in Bikini Bottom with them.
SpongeBob SquarePants follows the daily adventures of the title character and his friends in the underwater city of Bikini Bottom. SpongeBob has gone through all types of adventures in over 10 seasons, and he's often accompanied by his best friends Patrick Star and Sandy Cheeks, his neighbor and coworker Squidward Tentacles, and his boss Mr. Krabs. Although SpongeBob is kind and friendly, he has made some enemies along the way, including Mr. Krabs' eternal nemesis Plankton, owner of The Chum Bucket, the biggest competitor of Mr. Krabs' The Krusty Krab. The Chum Bucket is a fast-food restaurant that has failed to connect with customers, but it's still somehow operating, and it has seen various characters working there at some point.
The Chum Bucket is owned by Plankton and his computer wife, Karen, and as hard as they try to change their recipes, the restaurant is known for serving horrible food made from chum. Plankton and Karen are the only employees who have been there from the beginning, and they have welcomed other characters into their exclusive crew, although temporarily. SpongeBob himself worked at The Chum Bucket at some point, first as a cook when Mr. Krabs lost him in a card game and later as a painter when he helped redecorate the place. SpongeBob's best friend, Patrick Star, has also worked there as a fry cook when Plankton hired him minutes before the Fry Cook Games began. Patrick later worked there as a delivery guy, painter alongside SpongeBob to redecorate the place, and as an advertiser, though none of these lasted for long.
Squidward has also worked at The Chum Bucket, first as a designer in order to turn the place into a more welcoming one, and later as a chef, but Plankton failed to follow his cooking instructions. Another member of The Chum Bucket crew was SpongeBob's cousin, Stanley S. SquarePants, who was sent there by Mr. Krabs after he broke everything around The Krusty Krab, and he did the same at Plankton's business. Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy also worked there once but against their will, as they were controlled by Plankton thanks to his mind control shampoo, and in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, he used bucket-control helmets to manipulate the residents of Bikini Bottom. Plankton has also made some inventions to help him at the restaurant, as were Mr. Krabs Robot and PlanKrab, a combo clone of himself and Mr. Krabs.
Of course, none of these employees have stayed for long nor have they helped the business succeed, proving that the problem of The Chum Bucket isn't its crew. The Chum Bucket's constant failures will continue to be a running gag in SpongeBob SquarePants , and Plankton will surely continue hiring and firing a variety of characters.
